With the Chinese entering the Western mobile market with two new mobile devices that are better than the iPhone 5, the United States government is questioning whether or not they would be a security threat to America. The company "Huawei"is world known company that is hoping to expand to Western consumers but the US government is questioning their validity. Washington is warning companies to stay away from them.

The Ascend D2 boasts a 13 megapixel camera, up to 2 days of battery life, and even waterproof.  The iPhone 5 has none of those capabilities. Huawei hopes that these features will attract consumers in the Western market. Huawei hopes that this year will be very profitable for them, although their sales in the market is low, less than 1% in the US and Germany.

Huawei knows what consumers want in their phones as they have added a longer lasting battery. They also have a bigger screen size, which is becoming more likable to consumers. Although it is risky to accept an unknown company into the mobile device market, Huawei thinks the customers will enjoy their products.
