Fridays homework

In this video it talked about I guess architecture and engineering. It talked about the building of The Great Wall of China. Then it talked about the first emperors tomb. Both of these works of architecture and engineering were huge and took long periods of time to create.
The Great Wall of China is really amazing. It is I believe about 6,000 miles long, I think the video said that. It consists of watch towers every so often. They used a type of gravel or dirt that they put in the middle of the wall and pounded it in to make it strong. This way was also easier to do. The Great Wall helped fortify but also stood as a symbol of superiority and borders China.
The tomb was huge. Although the tomb has yet to be excavated because of fear that they could damage it or something. The Chinese are waiting for technology that'll make it easier and wont ruin it. But historians have a good idea of the tomb and what its like. A good distance away from the tomb are about 6 feet tall Terracotta Soldiers. There are thousands of these that were all hand chiseled. These were to be guarding the tomb of the first emperor.
