The video gave me a sense of dejavu of what we learned in class, but presented the information in a more visually pleasing and attention grabbing/keeping manner. It explained up to the Qin dynasty and went a little beyond that of what we learned in the book. So all in all I believe the video did a better job of explaining than the book did.
