1. becuase nomads dont generally produce manufacterd goods which means they need to trade
2. becuase when men and women must work to survive there tend to be less patriarchal
3. anybody that would want someone to be leader they would show up to his place with their horses
4. the golden horde, ilkhanate, yuan dynasty, and chagatai khanatethe 
5. the mongols reinvigorate cross-eurasian trade, the mongols increased communication through eurasia, another thing that traveled along the mongols trade route was cuisine, the mongols forcibly relocated people who were useful to them, and the mongols were almost unprecedentedly tolerant of different religions.
