I simply thought that the video offered more information about the different dynasties in china over a longer period of time. Although the book explained main topics like the Mandate of Heaven which the book also gave a diagram about, the video went more into depth about how more often than just new rulers coming into power because the population made them because of a natural disaster or any other type of set back like wars.but a lot of times rulers were simply taken over by other people who wanted to over throw the active ruler. Whether it be because they felt that they could make more positive changes or that they just thought they were not doing a good job. So I think that the video brought up a few more important details that the textbook just skimmed over.
