*The Emperor of China wanted to make a memorial to himself.
*He created a river inside of the memorial made out of mercury.
*He created a stone army to symbolize protection for him.
*This army is called the Terracotta Army.
*The Great Wall of China was first made out of sticks and mud.
*As years went by they started to build it up more out of stone.
*The reason for the Great Wall was to keep out any unwelcomed Nomads.
*The Great Wall was also a burial place for the workers who disobeyed the army.
